She's a Lucy, alright

Please meet my daughter, the redhead:

Lucy's paternal great-grandfather was actually known as "Red Conway" for his hair; I think she is definitely a throwback to him! When she was born, her hair was light brown, almost blond-ish, but with each hairwash her hair turns a little more red. The hair at the nape of her neck is darker, so I'm not sure which way she's going to go -- auburn or strawberry-blond. In any case, she's a Lucy alright!

(p.s. This explains a lot about the drama involved in my pregnancy with her and her birth.)
(p.s.s. And yes, this is Lucy's serious face. She furrows that brow trying to figure out her world!)

Aww! It's so funny how, when Will was born, I could immediately see you and Marty in him...Lucy? Not so much - so she must be a throwback to a few generations ago, which I think is SUCH a neat thought!

My goodness! How can it have changed so much in a week?! Red hair is awesome. Who didn't want to look like Anne of Green Gables? But seriously, she needs to lighten up! :) My Lulu is too little to be so serious. I love it, though, that she already has so much personality.

What a little sweetie! I love her seriousness (and that RED hair!). My little Emma always had a very serious face, exactly like the one Lucy has in this picture. She's concentrating really hard. There's much to take in, ya know.

I love the look on her face, like she's figuring it all out! Morgan makes the same face, in fact, we call her Professor Serious for a while because that was the only face she would make! But I am loving the red hair on Lucy girl. There is something so precious about a little girl with red hair!
